PADI Assistant Instructor
The PADI Assistant Instructor course is a subset of the full PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) course you undertake the same course work as you would for the full instructor course however this course doesn’t have the time restraints that are normally imposed on the IDC course and it doesn’t include the Instructor Exam with PADI.
Although we are not a PADI IDC centre we have affiliations with Course Directors in the UK and abroad and are able to teach the course under their indirect supervision.
You will be mentored by our multi award winning IDC staff instructor (Dave Hunneyball), who will guide you on your journey. Once qualified you will be able to teach all of the theory from the PADI Open Water Diver Course and all of the confined water sessions. You will also be able to teach courses such as the Seal Team, Master Seal Team, EFR Primary and secondary care to mention a few.
This is the ideal course for those who want to build some teaching confidence prior to becoming a full blown PADI scuba Diving Instructor.
